Organized by the Association Technopol (dedicated to the service of electronic culture), the Techno Parade takes a tour of Paris for hours of non-stop dance beats. It begins and ends at the Place de la Bastille and marches by the Hôtel de Ville, Chatelet, Strasbourg Saint Denis, Place de la République, and back down the Boulevard Beaumarchais. The pulsing sounds of the parade are accompanied by dance performances and battles, especially at the Bastille, temporarily rechristened Le Village Electro.
