A Lovely Place to Stay
The hotel was beautiful and very clean, the staff friendly. The only service drawback was that they neglected to refill our firewood for the fireplace after we asked at the desk, and they didn't replenish the mini-bar at all during our 3 night stay. However, the overall feel was of security and comfort. The bar/restaurant was cozy and the waitstaff very efficient and attentive. The food was great. We had none of the issues that others present in their reviews - plenty of water in the bathroom and the shower pressure blew us away!

Hotel fine/restuarant & bar disappointment
In years past, we enjoyed so much the reataurant as well as the bar/lounge area. Several years ago, we returned, and our meal was mediocre and overpriced. As for the bar, we were shocked to see it all "modernized" and were terribly disappointed. It no longer retained the romantic charm that it had in the past with its more colonial decor. We probably will not return to the bar [two levels, cozy, lovely in the past].

Presidents & Prime Ministers
This is where the visiting dignitaries stay. The rooms are plush, the tubs are deep, the service is impeccable. Upon departure, you'll be handed a souvenir bag of Colombian coffee.
