This gallery opened in March 2001 with the intent to promote various areas of contemporary artistic creation. Most of the gallery is filled with works of well-known Portuguese artists, along with some contemporary art and works of other innovative artists. The gallery is working on establishing a new agreement between private and institutional collectors in an attempt to broaden audiences' horizons and make more art available to the public. Filipa César, Graça Pereira Coutinho, Joana Rosa, João Louro, João Onofre, João Paulo Feliciano, João Tabarra, José Loureiro, Julião Sarmento, Lawrence Weiner, Luís Paulo Costa, Matt Mullican, Michael Biberstein, Nikias Skapinakis, Noé Sendas, Pires Vieira and Rui Toscano are some of the artists represented in this gallery.
