This modern architectural feat is the world's largest suspension dome. It will host the badminton and rhythmic gymnastics events during the 2008 Beijing Summer Olympics. The marvelous structure contains 7500 seats as well as a specially designed air flow system allowing for regulated wind speeds for both sports. The gymnasium will be used by the Beijing University of Technology as their activities center, as well as being open to the public as a space for sports training after the games. China has created yet another awe-inspiring landmark.
