The Musée des Miniatures is a testament to the passion of Dan Ohlmann for the very small; reproductions of well-known attractions of Lyon, fictional settings for characters, and treasures from around the world are all scaled down with remarkable accuracy. Several artists of the miniature are featured in the permanent collection and in temporary exhibits. Stage settings from works of cinema are another focus of the museum, and workshops which may be attended by the public are also offered. The museum is located inside the Renaissance style Maison des Avocats, a fixture of Vieux Lyons.
