This is a strong attraction to those visiting Berlin due in part because of the name that is associated with the church. Although this isn't the actual church that Martin Luther nailed his famed 95 Theses to, it does offer some insight to the reformer's life and influence on the Catholic church. There are daily tours around the building which outline the spectacular architecture as well as giving the history behind the life-sized statue of the Luther that sits in front. It was finished in 1928 and was a more formal response to Martinskirche, located nearby.
