With beautiful forested areas and pristine, white, sandy beaches that line the shores of both the Gulf of Mexico and St. Joseph's Bay, St. Joseph's Peninsula is a park that has it all. Located about 90 minutes from Panama City, floating in the open waters, this picturesque coastal barrier peninsula offers all varieties of outdoor activities, from kayaking and hiking, to boating, hiking, and bicycling. The park is well known for its bird-watching opportunities, with more than 240 species known to inhabit the peninsula. Camp by the beach or inland among the wilderness, or stay overnight in one of eight cabins available on the park's bay side. Please note that open flames, including campfires, are prohibited in Florida State Parks. Daily admission is $4 per vehicle and $1 for each additional passenger or pedestrian. Camping fees are $20 per night and cabins are $90 per night. Check out the park's website for information on the 70-seat picnic pavilion and reservations.NYC Best Hotel Deals: 50% Savings In New York!
