Situated on Aruba’s Winward Coast, Natural Bridge was the island’s most visited tourist destination and one of the Caribbean’s most distinguishable sights until it collapsed on September 5th, 2005. Stretching 100 feet across and rising 25 feet above the ocean, the bridge was made of limestone coast and was known as the Caribbean’s highest and most dramatic coral formation. Although no longer the natural wonder it once was, the site is still a popular tourist attraction and offers nice views of the coast. There are about seven other natural bridges on Aruba, although many of them can be difficult to reach.
