Coligny Theatre (previously known as Island Theatre) first opened its doors in 1972, and had the illustrious distinction of being the only movie theatre on the island. In 1997, the business went belly up, only to be reopened (and renamed) a few years later by new owners with a new direction in mind. The theatre now shows a variety of art films and sponsors festivals to celebrate experimental genres and short films. Located in the bustling Coligny Plaza, this one-screen cinema caters to a devoted audience of movie and art lovers alike.
