Coligny Beach is the bustling heart of this resort island. It features all the amenities one might expect from such a tourist hotspot, including volleyball nets, rest rooms, changing rooms and showers (Coligny even ups the ante with a few beach-side bars). Sunbathers flock to the seashore for some warming rays, while the fine, hard sand in the area makes walking and biking along the shore popular activities year-round. Located nearby the popular downtown shopping area of Coligny Plaza, this beach can get very crowded during the peak season, but if you simply walk a few hundred yards away from the center of activity, you will find some peace and quiet once again.
