home away from home
My husband and I stayed in Swissotel just for a stopover for 3 nights and have chosen the hotel because of the location - during check in the receptionist offered us to pay a bit more and get an upgrade to the Executive Rooms on Level 57 to 60. We did it and it was just amazing, the staff is so friendly and we felt like beeing in a home away from home. We enjoyed breakfast in the lounge and daily happy hour with free alcohol and snacks. Our room was facing the harbour, quiet big, clean and well equiped (we had our own coffee machine in the room. The receptionist (lovely german lady) greeted us always by name and we've been very impressed by the service at all.

The hotel is top ten tallest hotel in the whole wide world. It is a Five Star Hotel in Singapore. It is one of the most luxury hotel in Singapore.I does not like the pool in that hotel because it is too small for all the people in the whole wide world.

home away from home
We stayed at The Stamford when it was still owned by Westin Hotels. We stayed for 5 weeks while we waited for our house to be ready. The service is outstanding. Everyone was so kind. Great location, right across the street from the Raffles Hotel, shopping, etc... It still is a home away from home for us.

Wish I didn't have to leave...
The best thing about the hotel is its location. It's very near the MRT, shopping complex just below, pretty much everything you need is literally just a stone's throw away. The room we stayed in at the 48/F also had a magnificent view of the bay, that coming back to the hotel was a perfect way to end a tiring day - just looking out your hotel window relaxes you instantly. The staff were all courteous and were very helpful when we needed to call home. Also, since our flight back to Manila was still at midnight, we were allowed to stay in their hospitality room (I think that's what they call it) where we can rest and freshen up before our flight. The experience was truly great, our Singappore visit was made so much more worthwhile. No second thoughts about checking in this hotel the next time we visit Singapore.

Needs work
The best aspect of this hotel is its location. It's a short walk to some fine dining and shopping and a short drive (or cab ride) to everything else. The MRT station is easily accessible as well.
