Back to Castillo de Chapultepec Castillo de Chapultepec and D.F. My wife's family and all of my inlaws live in D.F. We go down there every year and there is always something we didn't see before. It is a amazing place, the food from the stands on the corners to the restaurants are awsome. Castillo de Chapultepec is a nice museum and you can take pictures because i did all i did was ask first true you can't take them inside.
Reviewed by: Dale M from on Jul 01 2008 we can't wait to go back because the food the people and the entertamint is wonderfull I look every single thing in Mexico there no dislike at all i recomed people to go their to have a good time to go with family or frind specily to the beach night clubs.
Reviewed by: Veronica from on Jun 18 2008 It's a museum! There's NO food! One review said the food was great. I don't know where they were when they wrote that, but Castillo de Chapultepec is a nice museum. You aren't allowed to take any back packs in and no photography (with or without flash). They have a place where you can check your bag and they are very orderly and professional with them. I had a laptop so if you have a nice camera or something, I wouldn't worry too much about leaving it. The faclities are first rate, the actual story of the place is sad, and I definatly recommend going. It's probably the nicest place in the park -atleast for adults. I don't remember paying anything to get in but if I did, it wasn't much so the value is 5/5. I gave 4/5 for atmosphere because it's no Smithsonian but it's very interresting and first rate. A must see.

Reviewed by: A Yahoo! Contributor from on Feb 18 2008 Great history museum Great history museum, worth the walk from the Chapultepec Park below. Enjoy the walk, try not to use the free ride to the top (and back to the park), it's only a 12 minutes walk on a old-styled paved road. It's not a real castle, but it doesn't matter, it's packed with lots of historic items and documents.
Reviewed by: Mario from on Aug 16 2007 Interesting History There was so much history in the museum that I had no idea had even occured! It was a truly eye-opening experience. The view of Mexico City is beautiful on a clear day. It is quite a walk up a hill, though. If you are not in decent shape for walking, I would avoid it.
Reviewed by: A Yahoo! Contributor from on May 21 2007 It was amazingly breathtaking I have always loved History and when me and my wife went there, it was as if we were traveling back in time. I really felt as though I was living in the past. I could touch History like never before!
