Cajun Yard Dog serves up some simple yet delectable French and Spanish delicacies that are quite easy on the pocket. Chef Chris and Sue Edwards, the husband and wife duo, opened this restaurant after the success of their more upscale joint—Dakotas. They kept the menu somewhat similar, but added some simple Creole and Cajun dishes to the list. Some popular offerings include Shrimp Creole, Southern Smothered Cabbage, Crispy Fried Okra and Chunky Smashed Potatoes. Weekends are even more special, as the place livens up with some great music and entertainment.
