The Great Guild Hall is right in the centre of Tallinn. The hall is now a museum of history with collections dating back to 1842. There are antiquities, objects of art and natural objects on display. Areas of interest include archaeology, archive, ethnography, photography, glass, porcelain, cultural history, art, furniture, numismatics, seals, weapons, publications, foreign ethnography, and textiles. Free admission every last Saturday of each month.

These coins give one a sneak peek into the history of Tallinn and make for an interesting exhibition. Coins from the times of the Vikings to the end of the Tsarist period are kept in this museum.

This exhibition further showcases several rare items like dishes, table sets, pictures, maps, manuscripts and others that reflect the life in ancient Estonia.
