Located towards the north end of St-Laurent Boulevard, this is the area where the first Italian immigrants settled in Montreal. The district is now crammed with shops, restaurants, social clubs, cafés and bars. There is a festival atmosphere year-round as businesses vie with one another to attract customers and the streets overflow with pedestrians. Take a stroll through Dante Park, where you will find families enjoying a day out, and card and bocce ball players focused on their game.

Not worth the money
Piccolo Casa in Little Italy (co-proprietors of Casa Napoli) This is the second time I'm disappointed at this restaurant and will not likely return. Was there for a birthday in May and the service was absolutely terrible. Was there last night and now very disappointed in the food and value for what it cost. The Antipasto ($9.50 for the practically empty plate) had very little vegetables and 1 small slice of prosciutto. The pizza was definately not as good as it once used to be, much smaller and hardly any toppings ($11.50). The only thing that wasn't too bad was the Almond cake but at $6.50 a slice NEVER AGAIN!!!!!!!!! All in all, we were two and it cost us $33.00 each with the tip (which was not plentiful because service was terrible). Believe it or not we shared the antipasto and the pizza. Never again, guess they've become too sure of themselves, well think again, they've just lost a customer and it will not stop there I have an aunt who is on the Committee of the Golden age association of one of the oldest Italian churches in the area and I know they go to that restaurant when there is an occasion to celebrate............well that may change once I let them know.
