Located downtown, JJ's is not your run-of-the-mill restaurant. Rambunctious and full of character, this Mexican restaurant features a terrific Mariachi band from Guadalajara that performs nightly. Friday nights are designated Parranda Nights when dancing lessons are offered from 10pm onward. The Tex-Mex decor includes leather seats imported from Mexico, shiny metal chairs and, of course, cactus-shaped decorations on the walls. The menu features the usual Mexican fare: fajitas, nachos and margaritas. Highly recommended are any of the seafood dishes. The Cheese and Crab Pot is to die for.
