Back to Café Sel et Poivre Very Bad Taste What disturbed me most about this cafe and made the food most distastful was the desecration of the Australian flag. Hanging above the diner is an Australian flag with the French flag in place of the Union Jack. After in living in France for sometime I can tell you they would have not appreciated me going and sticking an Australian flag over the French flag much less a Union Jack (I would not have lived to tell the story). I therefore find this and should think other Australians would find this completley disrespectful to the pride of our country.

Superb and genuine French food, the pepper steak sauce is to die for! A simple, but cost effective wine list, wonderful ambience, very gay friendly, and superb service. Definately worth a visit. Bookings essential at weekends.
