If you don't mind hauling your luggage two flights up stairs to check in (without assistance), a phone system that doesn't work, a "bistro" connected to the hotel which is nothing more than a smokey bar, beds that are so old you should sleep on the floor, and being on the main drinking street in Reykjavik go ahead and stay at this supposed "4 star" hotel! Bathroom was clean, room was gross (those 1970's polyester bedspreads that likely haven't been cleaned since then), one lone pillow as flat as a pancake. Also, no safe in the room - take your valuables with you.
