Back to Julien We can't wait to go back! Went there in 2003 and have been thinking of returning ever since(which I will in one week's time). Found it by chance and loved every moment of the experience starting with the wonderful decór and ambiance and ending with the dessert (something with pears which I can still taste 6 years onwards!) Can's wait!

The restrauant is known for its Cassoulet, but I had the pan seared foie gras which was better than excellent. Try the Grand Marnier crepe for dessert. You can even watch them prepare it.

Reviewed by: A Yahoo! Contributor from on Apr 10 2007 the real Parisian experience We stumbled across this restaurant whilst doing a reccy for where to eat and trying to avoid anything that looked touristy. It looked different from the outside and we peeked thru the window. Decided to return for dinner that evening and were completely astonished at the grand interior and amazing decor. Spoke French and didnt feel like a tourist . Food starters were excellent , main course equally so altho my salmon wasnt completely cooked , they took it away and returned a fresh dish. Great food portions, attentive but not OTT service. Excellent value for money, sat drinking in the amtosphere and the wine till late . Didnt feel out of place in jeans and tops, but you could also feel fine dressed to kill. Fab atmosphere , very French, very relaxed. As we left we realised there was a queue of people out of the door waiting to get in. Later found it featured in our Time Out guide. If you dont want the tourist stuff and enjoy authentic Paris particularly if you are comfortable in a multi cultural area then its a must. Can't wait to go again.
