The "lightest" museum I have ever been to
I have been to world class museums around the world (Metropolitan in NYC, The Prado in Madrid, The Louvre in Paris) but the Getty totally holds up. The architecture alone leaves you breathless. The white, the hills, the travertine - I was blown away. You will not be disappointed with the art collection either. Enjoy!

Very Pleasant Place to Visit- and It's Free!
The Getty is definitely worth seeing, it is a gorgeous place with a great location and view. It's also a good place to take kids..and the added perk..aside from parking it's free to get in! This is by far one of the best things around that people could experience for free.

I Never Wana Go Back
this is a good place to visit but i have heard things from the people that work in the inside of the museum not make me want to go its awful how they treat their works and pay them nothing. we care about the art but also about the workers one day the line was so long i asked a cashier did they have more staff and they said no because of lay offs and cut backs and they just opened a new location shame on the Getty museum.

Critic review
Everything about the Getty Center is wonderful. THe art and the building itself is worth the trip, and fun can be found for all ages.

Just astonishing
The art there is amazing! It's such a beautiful attraction, I could spend days there. Come early because there's so much to look at. The only bad thing is the looooooong line for parking, but it's worth it.

JUST BEAUTIFUL
THERE IS NOTHING TO DISLIKE, THIS MUSEUM IS LIKE NO OTHER. ARCHECTURE IS MODERN, BUT FOR THOSE THAT DON'T LIKE MODERN STRUCTURES THIS WILL CERTAINLY CHANGE YOUR CONCEPT OF MODERN ARCH. THE MUSEUM COMPRIMISES OF A SERIES OF BLDGS. THAT RESIDE ON A MOUNTAIN SLOPE. ALL BLDGS. HOLD DRIFFERENT EXIHBITS OF ARTS AND THERE OWN SPECIAL CHARM WITHIN. MANY HAVE EXTORDANARY VIEWS OF THE SURROUNDING AREAS OF BRENTWOOD, BEL AIRE AND CULVER CITY, AND ON A CLEAR DAY THE PACIFIC OCEAN. VERY WELL MAINTAIN GROUNDS AND GARDEN AREAS. IN MY OPINION IT JUST GIVES YOU A COMPLETE SUPERNATURAL OVERALL SENSE THE WAY THIS EXTORDANARY COMPLEX IS LAID OUT. MAKE SURE TO PLAN AHEAD, RESERVATIONS ARE REQUIRED FOR PARKING AVIALABLITY. I TRUELY GARANTEE A MEMORABILE EXPERINCE.

So much to see, not enough time
As soon as the tram reached the expansive marble plaza we were greeted by a docent, and we knew we were in for a treat.

I can't say enough wonderful things about the Getty Center!
We tried to cram the Getty Center into a 2 hour visit... This is NOT enough time!! As we left, we felt as though we had cheated ourselves by not spending more time there. It was definitely one of the best parts of our trip. Make time, and definitely explore everything this museum has to offer. It is a worthwhile experience.
