Back to Sofitel Chicago Water Tower Best In Chicago We have stayed at The Sofitel numerous times. It is not the only Chicago hotel we will visit. The atmosphere is relaxed, upscale and exudes class. The staff, from management to service to cleaning staff are all friendly and helpful. The rooms are modern and extremely well maintained. The bar and restaurant are excellent. We truly enjoy every stay and leave looking forward to our return.

Reviewed by: michael from on Sep 08 2009 Very bad Well, I ordered breakfast at 10am, arrived at 11 15am, waiter by the name of Rico very unprofessional, wrong food. Front desk was helpful.....

Reviewed by: anita from chicago from on Jan 21 2009 Unquestionably a superb place to stay Great service, location, ambience and beds. Clean. Warm and friendly bar. I would --and have-- recommended to others.
Reviewed by: A Yahoo! Contributor from on Nov 06 2008 First-Rate Hotel! One of the best hotels I have ever stayed at. The rooms were AMAZING, Bathrooms were FIRST-CLASS, and Service was IMPECCABLE. The location was perfect... walking distance to John Hancock Tower, Rush St, Michigan Ave., and Red Line Train Station. The price is a bit high (but typical for the location and the high standard), but I found a good online deal. I hardly ever write reviews, so I felt this hotel deserved my 5-star write-up.
Reviewed by: Yin-Ling Q from on Jul 15 2008 Love it!!! I loved this place! It is one block for Michagen Ave. The lobby was beautiful and the people are so helpful. The room was breath taking. Ask for a higher up floor.
Reviewed by: A Yahoo! Contributor from on Jul 07 2008 One of the best hotels in Chicago, Great location. Stayed here before and this must be one of the best in its category. Peninsula is nicer but costs two to three times more. Great locations, quiet compare to Michigan Ave. hotels.
Reviewed by: A Yahoo! Contributor from on Nov 04 2007 Service Supreme! The friendly staff were amazing! We had a block of rooms for our daughter's wedding and the Hotel staff made such an effort to put all of our guests and families on one floor and beside one another. They let us check in early and went above and beyond the call of duty to grant our every need.
Reviewed by: A Yahoo! Contributor from on Jun 11 2007 Nothin' special hotel Just stayed there 2/3/07. Was looking for a fun, contemporary hotel and it didn't deliver. The lobby was nice, and the rooms were mostly clean, but it really wasn't special. Service time was slow for room requests, found empty waterbottles under the chair, and the alarm was set for 7:30 am, which we of course didn't find out until it was 7 am. Nice, but I would have rather gotten a deal at a Hilton or a Hyatt!
