poor
The hotel it self, is clean and fancy enough but the service, front of desk, onward travel and mistakes they make is unbeliavble of a hotel which claims such high status. Our bags went to our room. We got the keys and went to our room, no bags. We thought hey would arrive which they did not. We were given the wrong room so after an hour we had to change room. Went to our new room there were our bags. Mix up on the front desk, some else was in our room with our bags!!. We were in their room. It would have been better to just move bags not the people? Then we were supposed to have gone by train to Shimla the next morning but noone had booked out tickets. This was arrange when we booked the package and I had letter to prove this. The desk manager said I was lying and was getting cross with me until I showed him the letter, half the front desk was dealling with use by then. They had made a massive mistake. It made our stay a rubbish. They were trying to book use onto an airline to fly up so descided to telphone use at 1 am to tell use our travel details for the next morning, we were to leave at 12 noon so no need to phone at 1 am. particualry as I said no phone calls after 11 pm!!!

India
India, the chromatic land of complicated contrast is one of the most captivating and compelling travel destinations around the world. Right from the northern Himalayas to the southern oceans and western deserts to northeastern rain forests, all together makes India a land of complex but interesting diversity. Besides, every step you take here offers a different, sight, smell, sound and taste.

Oberoi, as expected one of the greats - but even better if
A true five star hotel, apart from a few localised touches could have been in any Asian country.

Excellent service & feeling of warmth, with a great pool and sumptuous food. Classic collection of liquor and wines. Its also very ideal for families as they respect great privacy.

Would go back again
While on business in Delhi I stayed at the Oberoi. Nothing made breakfast better than seeing Richard Gere stroll in for breakfast.

An Urban Oasis
I have been a regular user of the hotel for years. The hotel has constantly and consistently re-invented itself and provides, perhaps, the ultimate in quiet efficiency and superior service! The two new F & B outlets threesixty & TRAVERTINO are huge value add-ons, as far as adding spunk & class in a superior dinning/night out experience. What distinguishes this, and indeed, most Oberoi Hotels from others is the fact that they are CONSISTENTLY SUPERIOR, and, for the most, much ahead of the competition!
