Back to Crowne Plaza Hotel Dubai Okay for the price... Great for business people, however, I wouldn't bring my family...I'd like something more accommodating and nicer. Is this a Holiday Inn or Crowne Plaza???
Reviewed by: A Yahoo! Contributor from on Oct 15 2007 Great Hotel... My fiance and I stayied for 2 nights in the spring and we had a wonderful time. Great location and very accessible to the city. The service was great and very attentive, the rooms were very comfortable and spacious. The only complaint I would say was the breakfast really wasn't that great. But over all we had a pretty good experience.

Reviewed by: 3awasha from on Dec 31 2006 The price is not worth I don't expected I paid for 5 stars hotel price but have 3 stars hotel quality in terms of the service, enviroment of everywhere from the hotel, decor of rooms, swimming pool... etc. All the stuff are not up to even 4 stars standard.
Reviewed by: A Yahoo! Contributor from on Feb 24 2006 Far below Crowne Plaza standard I don't know why they claim themselve 5 stars hotel, well may be 20 years ago they were 5 stars. My feeling is that they are so old stylish and really old fashion in decoration and actually old and past. I don't know why the travel agency (Swire Travel) recommend this hotel to me and charge for USD500 a night for twin share. I have just been there this month (Feb 2006), I'm so disappointed compare to 2 years ago, I also stayed in Crown Plaza hotel in Melborne Australia, there was really excellent - Apart from the standard facilities of a 5 stars hotel, there has a TV & electrical spa in your own bathroom. also has the own chainging room in every single hotel room.

Reviewed by: Maria Lourdes from on Sep 26 2005 Crowne Plaza, or Holiday Inn? Well, you could say this is the best of the business type hotels. Like a more upmarket version of Holiday Inn. However, in comparison with the rest of Dubai it has more to go in the light of improvements. One issue that cannot be resolved is the location. The hotel is based on the outskirts of the Diera area, so walking is absolutely out of the question, hence cabs are necessary to get anywhere. The cabs are cheap enough with a standard fixed fee of a couple of AED, not even 50p!
