Reviewed by: A Yahoo! Contributor from on Nov 22 2009 What is up with this hotel?? Okay, I only spent 3 nights in this hotel alone for about 2,700 USD. I was supposed to meet a friend in Dubai, so I chose this hotel to get all fancy and feel special (for experience wise). Of course, I read on the Internet that this place was a 5 star hotel. I must give them 5 stars for both cleanliness and location (great view, I agree), but I was very disappointed at their services as well as the money value. On the second day, I started wondering if this was really worth the money. No, it didn't. Their food was overpriced and did not taste as good - they just looked fancy and luxurious.

Reviewed by: A Yahoo! Contributor from on Oct 05 2008 Quite dissappointing.. Having heard a lot about The Burj Al Arab, i was really disappointed when i went there.. the building is quite amazing on the outside, but not that great on the inside.. my first impression was, i wouldn't give it 7 stars..

Good service and really luxarious with gold decorations all over the hotel and an under sea level resturant where you can enjoy the food while looking at the world of the aqua life under the sea.

Reviewed by: A Yahoo! Contributor from on Nov 24 2007 good I stayed two nights at the Burj. It is an experience but I would question the value for money. Class, yes, it has plenty. Atmoshpere too. Room suite and view is excellent. On the flip side, it is overpriced. Paid US$1800 for two nights. US$123 for lunch buffet for two. Full American breakfast is US$ 60 per person. Buy the bathrobe for US$ 246 each if you wish. No coffee or tea facility in the room. And finally, we have to wait 20 minutes for our two small bags to come down when we finally check out. Yes, Once is enough.
