Located north of town in Beiling Park, this famous site is one of the area's top attractions. It took eight years to build and was finally finished in 1643, and now houses the burial site of Huang Taiji, the founder of the Qing Dynasty. A path leading to the tomb's entrance (the Worshiping Walk) is lined with statues of elephants, lions and horses. Combined with the surrounding cedar trees this site makes for a dramatic setting.
