For at least 20 years I've been going to Orchard Street for leather. I now have 4 leather jackets from there. It is a sad situation though. There are very few stores anymore and many of them are owned by the same people and they play games with you. They used to be flexible with prices and the price were a bargain. No longer. They try to bleed out every penny and will not make the prices reasonable. They are more than you can find online. Quality leathers are there but not for a reasonable price. Two days ago I found two jackets I liked. I bought one and went back today to get the other one and they would not budge on the price of the second coat. There was nobody there either. I would say about 30 people shopping on the whole strip. It's Christmas and its cold and people are not buying. Use to be no place to walk for the people and the bargains. Sorry to say I may need to find another favorite place for leather. Sad sad times.

Love going to all the leather stores for leather jackets. Best place to buy leather jackets , leather goods and name brands at very cheap price.Don't like is I run out of time, too many store to look.

Whenever my friends and i hit new york we LOVE to shop...im talking no limitations! ONe of our favorite places to shop is Orchard street...one of our godesses you can say! When its nice out go check it out, every cart possible is there great pricing...well for Manhatten that is! For example just 2 weeks ago one of my friends and i decided to go shopping...this time...with a budget...with teh apartment prices extremely high its impossible to save money now a days, but i told them why dont we go to orchard street, seeing as we havent been there in a while, and we went and i got one of the six set charm breaclets...the good luck one, i dont know what they are called but i got one then later showed it to my boyfriend and he said that he was going to get one for me, on the internet and most stores they run for about 40-50 $ i got it for $20, what can i say other than orchard street is the place to go.

In the past I have bought my winter leather coats there. They were of high quality and low price. I just went there recently and it is just a sad sign of the times. Very few coats fit me. I am plus size. Few really high quality styles. Fewer stores to choose from. But if you have a shopping spirit you can probably find something you can live with. You've got to search and compare and know leather quality.
