One of Germany's most prestigious indoor cycling races, Munich's Sechs-Tage-Rennen (Six Day Race) attracts some of the biggest names in cycling. Inaugurated in 1949 and held at home in the Olympiahalle, the race attracts up to 80,000 spectators every year. An entertainment program provides light relief for spectators who may get dizzy from watching bikes whizz round in circles for six days.
