Back to Chinatown Try the Bak Kwa (Singaporean Jerky) When you're around this local, try to purchase the Bak Kwa or Singaporean BBQ/Jerky. It may be pricey as it is sold by the kilo, but worth the taste. I tried taking some home but was confiscated at the US Customs. So eat as much as you can before you head back home. I recommend to buy some at the Bee Ching Hiang shop. You won't be disappointed!! Also to cool down, buy yourself an ice cream or drinks at the sidewalk stall for about $1 Singaporean.
