This cinema has been voted Best of Boston a number of times by Boston Magazine—and with good reason. With nine large screens, Dolby stereo and spacious seats, this art theater offers a first-class viewing experience. First-run independent films, foreign films and non-traditional studio fare are shown. Kendall's upscale concession stand features Ben & Jerry's ice cream, goodies from Rosie's bakery, espresso and Green Mountain coffee. Ticket prices are as to be expected at this Landmark Theatre, meaning they are too high. However, they do offer bargain matinees, generally for shows before 6p. So if your schedule allows, you can grab some cheap seats and save a few bucks. See website for showtimes and more.
