The Kishiwada Danjiri Festival, held every year in September, is well known for its dynamic danjiri, or floats. Here at the Kishiwada Danjiri Hall, opened in 1993, the visitor can experience the excitement of this 300-year-old festival through the latest audiovisual aids, as well as find out all about the history of the festival from various exhibits. Inside the hall is a reproduction of the town surrounding Kishiwada Castle, which has supervised the festival from olden times. Small reproduction of "danjiri" made of the same materials as the actual ones are some of the items not be missed at this museum. The date of the festival depends on the date of Respect-for-the-Aged Day which is on the third Monday of September.NYC Best Hotel Deals: 50% Savings In New York!
