Modelled after the Netley Abbey in Hampshire, this church was designed by Colonel Ronald MacPherson. The small cross behind the pulpit was crafted from two 14th century nails salvaged from the ruins of England’s Conventry Cathedral.
In 1843, Maria Revere, daughter of Paul Revere, presented the church with a half-ton bell founded by her father's firm. The Revere Bell was subsequently replaced by a peal of eight bells. These were permanently fixed when it was discovered that ringing them might threaten the tower's foundations. At the Visitor's Centre, learn about the church's history and view its artefacts.
