Too Many yankees!
My husband and I were at Barefoot Landing this past weekend. I spotted a "new" home decor store that I previously had never seen. Yeah! Was hoping there would be some higher quality gifts and decor to chose from than the usual trinkets and such. There were two women in attendance, discussing their social life, each one trying to "out class" the other with their conversations. Neither one acknowledged my entering the store, greeted, or asked if they could help me! They were transplanted yankees, trying to be socialites, with bad manners and worse business sense. I won't "visit" this store again...besides, the merchandise was not very good quality anyway!

$7 cash for one ice cream cone
One family ice cream store has no price listed and take cash only ..the relative small cash sign is right at the cashier machine( i don't recall i saw the cash sign outside the store ) so you won't know they take cash only (unless you've noticed when you get into the store which i doubt it consider the happy mood that the tourists are all in) till the kids have gotten their ice cream and probably have licked them too and you are in line to pay then you find out it will cost you $7 cash for one ice cream cone, yes seven dollars!! ) I hope you won't get caught by surprise. What are you gonna do if you don't have enough cash ( just with credit cards in ur pocket) and your kids are looking at you!! If you go out for ice cream after dinner with family of 4 or 5 / or with friends...mmm.u do the simple calculation!! The ice cream is good but i do hope the store will post the price..so I can decide. My intention of this review is.. i want you all to have a good time and enjoy the place which i did but i got caught with the ice cream store ( may be it's my fault i should have looked more carefully before i ordered but how many of you expect to pay $7 for ice cream cone and cash only!!) ..my kids did enjoy the ice cream (they better be!!) and i hope u will enjoy it too...Most of all i hope the store will post the CASH sign in a more obvious place and also post the PRICE next or close to the flavors selection...

Loved it!
Even though there are some of the same stores here as there are at Broadway on the Beach, there is still a lot of shops to browse through. Look through the coupon books for a coupon for a free discount card. Most of the shops accept it. It was very cute and a good way to spend a morning. There were less people, but the fireworks show is cool, if you want to stick around.

This was fun!
We enjoyed this place, very nice on the waterway, lots of neat little shops, is much bigger than what you would think when you first get there. Worth going to, lots of choices, lots of nice places to sit and relax.

great place in Jan.
My husband and I go in Jan. and love it.The place is empty which we like. The people are friendly and we don't have a hard time finding parking or getting into resturants. It's our favorite time of the year to go. Recommend it for a quick get away. Barb from Ohio

Rain or Shine --Great day here
This place was great for the restaurants and shops. Alligator adventure was a bonus. You could spend a couple hours or a whole day here. There was something for people of all ages.

Ghosts and Legends show
While I love Myrtle Beach and enjoy Barefoot Landing, this ghost show is a complete waste of time and money, The ticket price is $8.00 and the show basically consists of listening to recorded ghost stories with colored lights going off and on the stage with a few other simple boring effects. Please don't waste your money and time on this show!!!!!
