Cambodia's leading Zoo is surprisingly well stocked and maintained by regional standards. The Sun Bear exhibit, which displays the rare species in an natural hillside setting, is maintained with support from a grant from Australia. Meanwhile, other enclosures that house monkeys, tigers, crocodiles and the like look somewhat more cramped as the animals peer bleakly out from behind bars.
