Not worth our money
We tried to find something positive but even my 8 yr old was bored and we left after about 15 minutes. This place is geared toward very little kids and maybe not past 5 yrs old. What i did see was a lot of empty rooms and things that needed to be updated for the amount they charge for admission.

Marbles is new and awesome!
The other reviews were not of Marbles but of a museum it replaced. My grandchildren love Marbles! They have been there over 6 times and cannot wait until the next visit. It was tons of fun! Marbles exposes children to diverse opportunities for creative play: from a Pirate Ship to an elaborate play village. Your child can dress up, sing Karaoke, perform on a stage, and build with a variety of fun materials. The staff is helpful and friendly and the premises are very clean. Not only is this a creative adventure but also a bargain at $5.00. We will be playing there again soon!

Explore somewhere else
Very mundane 'museum' - for a city its size with many young families Raleigh should have a better childrne's museum. This place really stinks - it is not a true museum. No thought or creativity went into planning this thing. Comparable city's like Cleveland, Columbus (even the Nashville Sceince Museum) have much better science/natural history museums for children. Even the IMAX screen is puny. Look elsewhere for fun in the triangle.

I've been to people's *houses* that were more fun
This museum is overpriced and horrible. We chose not to go to the Imax movie (which is seperate) and spent twenty dollars for two adults and one child over five (the three year old was free).
