Back to Charlie Goodnight's Comedy Club & Restaurant Love it!!!!! We have been twice . Can't wait to go again. We won't our friends to go with us and have made some plans to enjoy it with others. You can pick who you want to see. Also it's your choice what type of comedy you want. It is rated. Can't lose...You have the choice. The only thing I didn't like there was a couple of elementary children came in with parents that had no business being there. This is an adult place.
Reviewed by: Marc from on Jul 20 2009 Very poor service This establishment is very small and you packed 6 to a small 2 foot table. The service was slow and the owner was extremely rude when there was a discrepancy on the final bill. Although the comedian were good, I would recommend you spend you entertainment dollars at other locations.
Reviewed by: A Yahoo! Contributor from on Jul 04 2009 NEVER GO HERE AGAIN Owner was extremely rude and would not listen to reason. Lied about laws and attempted to extort service fees. Owner called police a lied about situation.
Reviewed by: Reality from on Jul 04 2009 Brett Butler??? what the f@*k! First off the show started late, ran through the warm ups. Brett came on and BOMBED! She blamed allergies but i think it was recreactional medicine. She was so bad my wife and I just got up and left. No body in the lobby and the Old bar was shut down. I think the place knew she bombed and owes us an apology for wasting our time. I felt bad for the bachelore party that was there. I LOVE CHARLIE GOODNIGHTS, but this show really sucked. I plan on seeing Kevin Hart. I know he'll be good. Please people take your date here just avoid BRETT BUTLER! Thank you Charlie Goodnights but atleast keep the bar open if the show bombed.
Reviewed by: A Yahoo! Contributor from on Jun 27 2009 A terrific room for fans of stand up comedy The club is not large. It is great room because you are so close to the comedians. Very intimate. They do pack you in but it is worth it. A great line up of comics come through the club. Worth the time. Premium table is a good value for a party of 4.
Reviewed by: A Yahoo! Contributor from on May 10 2009 Can't wait to go back! I didn't really get to experience the customer service aspect...arrived just in time for the headliner--regretfully. Did catch the last 5 minutes of the local talent and he was great! I drove from Richmond and report that is was well worth the trip and I plan to return in December for 'that show they couldn't mention' (wink-wink)!
Reviewed by: LISA P from on Nov 06 2008 WILL NEVER GO BACK Beware--make sure your beverages are what you order. Orange juice served in place of margueritas. Manager rude. Service slow because not enough staff. Owner will not call despite several emails requesting. They also serve drinks removed from one table to another.
Reviewed by: A Yahoo! Contributor from on Sep 08 2008 Great adult fun Would have to say that this is a great place to go if you want to do something different. Most comedians are funny stand-up. The seating is fairly crowded, and there is a lot of swearing, etc.
