I visited the zoo on my first trip to Viet Nam and it was a huge disappointment. Of course, this is coming from someone who lives in Southern California and have visited the San Diego zoo. There were pitifully few animals and the ones that were there were extremely malnourished. As an animal lover, it broke my heart. Southern Viet Nam has so much more to offer, don't waste your time visiting the zoo unless you have nothing else to do.

A big zoo in center of the HCM city , various animal , you all should come here to find interested of it

It is often called zoological garden or botanical garden, one of the oldest zoos in the world. The zoo came into being since 1864 by a French botanist, Mr. J. B Louis Pierre.
