Grandfather Mountain is very enjoyable. At $14/person it may be a slightly overpriced or at least you've seen it once and don't have to go back again. But it is very tourist friendly. If you have AAA it is a $2 discount off General Admission.

the drive to the top is the really scenic and you can stop at the small muesum. There are lots of vista points in between. The bridge is really kool :).

Been there lots of times and always find new enjoyment! From the animals...my favorite is the cougar but the eagles are magnificent... to the swinging bridge, it is all a great experience!

Grandfather mountain is absolutely gorgeous. The mile high swinging bridge was a blast. I'll definitely be going back. The people were friendly and the atmosphere was wonderful.
