This temple is located in front of the village headquarters in Gelgel village, Klungkung and is about three kilometers from the city center. Inside, you will find numerous remains of stone megaliths, fashioned as male figures dating to the prehistoric period in Bali. These unique megaliths feature large phalluses; perhaps an indication that this temple had a specific focus on fertility rites. There seems to be a certain connection between these megaliths and other ancient remains found within. To this day, archaeologists are still examining these unusual remnants of Balinese prehistory.
