The reservation was wrong. Take your confirmation number! There is a hidden resort fee of $14.50 per person per day that is tacked on to your bill. Some of the staff don't understand English. Room was run down, mildew in the shower, wet carpet at the bathroom entry. This place is not at all what you would expect for the room rates. The manager has a "too bad, so sad" attitude. One member of our party had to find a room elsewhere because they lost his reservation. (He was the lucky one, he stayed at the Sage Inn!) Santa Fe is wonderful! Don't miss it. Bishop's Lodge has a nice grounds, too bad it is so mismanaged and run down!!! The food was fine. Spend you travel dollar elsewhere until this resort is taken over by new owners/management. It is very sad to see what this once fabulous resort has become. It is beyond rustic.

The spa manager Antoinette is down right rude. We had to wait 30 min past our appointment time and the spa manager ask us if we would like to go somewhere else. TRUST US...NEXT TIME WE WILL! She has the worst attitude and from reading the other reviews about the poor staff here, I guess she fits right in!

The staff was incompetent on all levels...the concierge was never available, the keys to the rooms never worked, things to be corrected were not done, small things like free coffee service in the lounge was only done if the hotel was full, newspapers were not delivered although advertised that they would be. The restaurant went from incompetent to laughable. The front desk was uninformed about the most basic things...phone message service for example. What makes it so insulting is that the price puts it in a delux category...it is not.

Nice location north of Santa Fe and the advertised activities sound fun. Unfortunately during our stay the staff jumped at every opportunity to cancel activities and found every excuse to avoid helping guests. Not what you would expect for the price.

We loved the setting of the Bishop's lodge and up arrival had a great feeling that we would love the place.
