This sleepy town still remains untouched by the effects of tourism. With a variety of hotels and restaurants to choose from, Amed is the perfect getaway. Snorkel anywhere along the coast or sit in a restaurant and watch the dolphins playing in the waves. Look for the dive shops here if you like to dive near the Japanese shipwreck or in neighboring Tulamben. Being some of the friendliest people in Bali, the locals will give you information or just chat with you, without the intention of selling you something.

First class dining at restaurant opposite japanese shipwreck (Baliku or The Pavilion). Excellent ala-carte international food which you would not expect to find in Bali let alone the countryside. Excellent beachside accomodation (BOTH LUXURY AND BUDGET STYLE)also available nearby for very reasonalbe tariffs.
