2009-11-28 to 2009-11-29 The world's top female skiers come to Aspen during the Thanksgiving weekend for World Cup Racing. All of the top skiers including Croatia's three-time gold Olympic champion Janica Kostelic, and Austria's Renate Goetschl will be zipping down Aspen's slopes. Fans can watch the slalom and giant slalom events from a bleacher area at the base of the mountain. Cowbells are optional. Lift tickets will be generously reduced to just USD19 during this event.

The youngest of Aspen's four-mountain system is also the most diverse. Twenty lifts service 83 trails which feature bumps and glades for experts, groomed cruising runs for intermediates and beginners, and two Terrain Parks and two half-pipes for snowboarders. Its diversity makes it ideal for families with varying ski levels. Food and beverages can be purchased from five on-mountain restaurants. Lessons are offered for all levels, as well as a parent-happy childcare center.
