You'll want to get up bright and early on Saturday; the Farmers' Market opens at 7am. Among the many food stalls are crafters, with their gorgeous offerings of jewellery, tiny paintings of local scenes, hand-made shoes, carvings, baskets, sweaters and socks. Pick up freshly baked bread and a pie, a wild boar steak for supper, delicious herbs, and, depending on the season, pussy willows or gladiola to grace the table. There is not much you won't find here. Admission is free.
