Théâtre de la Pergola favors classic plays by authors as well-known as Shakespeare or Marivaux, while a single acting company in residence presents their diverse adaptations. Although the theater is located in a chic neighborhood, the ambiance is a bit stifled, and the audience is on the senior side. Yet the company, wanting to include a youthful audience, is making efforts to include young people into the theater. Certain hours are therefore reserved for students, in an effort to encourage their attendance.
