Items from the tandoor (clay oven) dominate the menu in this lovely restaurant, located just west of the downtown core, in what has recently been dubbed "The Warehouse District." In a charmingly exotic decor of tiles and wooden beams you can choose from simple curries (CAD14-18) or vegetarian dishes (CAD10-12). Tandoori dishes, the real attraction, include Aloo Mumtaz (potatoes with raisins, cottage cheese and chilis, CAD11) and Namoone Tandoor (mixed grill for two, CAD39). The Tuesday to Friday midday meal is buffet style.
