Back to Bluebeard's Castle Hotel We had a great time My wife and I stayed here for a week in May. Our room was clean, and we had a great view of the harbor and city. The bar workers were friendly and prepared lots of local drinks for us. The restaurant food was tasty, although rather pricy, even for the island. We were just a quick ride from the city shopping areas and docks, although most of the good beaches and night life were on the other end of the island. I'd stay here again if given the opportunity.
Reviewed by: Brian M from on Jul 10 2008 truly relaxing THE RESORT HAS A BEAUTIFUL LOCATION AND THE STUDIOS ARE VERY NICE. THE STAFF WAS VERY FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL. THE RESTAURANTS WERE EXCELLENT. THE GROCERY STORE IN THE HOTEL WAS REALLY CONVENIENT AS WELL AS THE TAXI SERVICE. THE VIEW FROM THE RESORT IS UNBELIEVABLE AND EVERYTHING IS LOCATED PRETTY CLOSE TO THE RESORT SUCH AS GREAT RESTAURANTS, MALLS AND BEACHES. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND A WEEK OR TWO TO TRULY RELAX IN PARADISE.

Reviewed by: lovelyoo7 from on Oct 12 2006 Great Hotel in Paradise Bluebeard Castle is a great place to stay when visiting the amazing virgin islands! The hotel is up above the city and gives beautiful views of St.Thomas. The staff at the hotel was very friendly and informative. One must always keep in mind that when traveling to the US Virgin Islands expect everything to run at a slower speed. It is much different than in the states. People are much more relaxed and take their time so when it comes to the hotel stay the staff is not as quick as the states but they fulfill all needs and requests and enjoy talking about their islands.

Reviewed by: A Yahoo! Contributor from on Sep 23 2005 Stay away from this resort The staff is dreadful and the management is rude and obnoxious. The resort is one where I will never return to, ever. Usually stays at these types of resorts are wonderful experiences but the total mismanagement of the entire resort should dissuade even the most traveled individuals from Bluebeards Castle.
