The specialty here is pizza, baked in the brick oven for which the restaurant derives its name. "Il Forno" is Italian for, you guessed it, "the oven." There are the meat lover's pizza (Patrizio), for cheese lovers (Quattro Formaggi) and Pescatore for seafood lovers, topped with mussels, clams, shrimp, and octopus. There are also several pasta dishes on the menu, as well as veal, chicken, and seafood house specialties. Located in the Jasper Gates plaza, Il Forno is bright, airy, and open, and it welcomes families.
