Made me very sick and they didn't care
I ate there last week. The meal was great up until the point where I starting feeling ill immediately after leaving, a situation that only improved after throwing up everything I'd eaten a couple of hours later. I had the lobster risotto and roasted duck breast, not sure which was to blame. I phoned the restaurant the following day and they took down my number, but never called back- obviously they didn't care too much. I eat out at restaurants a lot and have no food allergies that I know of, I've eaten dishes with these ingredients many times.
Would you recommend this to a friend?
No

Why? / Why Not?
See the review- they gave me food poisoning.

Pretty good...
The flavours and innovations are great. My complaint is, why they use sooooo much butter/oil on everything. If they use fresh, tasty, veggies, then there is no need to drown it in sauce or butter. I had a very upset tummy afterwards from the richness of the food. Not healthy.

I love love love this restuarant! The portion sizes are great actually and you must must start with the smoked salmon and truffled perogies..to die for!

This is the best restaurant in Edmonton
I travel often and wide - this restaurant would be a great restaurant in any international city. An exciting menu present bold flavours and fresh seasonal ingredients.

excellent food, bad service
Great food, great ambience, a good wine list. But with a rather unattentive server, a bad vintage, and rather large main course portions, I might wait a while to go back

best in edmonton??
Eating here more than once, usually a very good experience. Best wine list I have ever seen. Dated interior with some really ugly art, good wait staff. Large portions as compared to other establishments of this price range. Dinners have always been great, I do not recomend eating here for lunch.

Super restaurant... but staffing (PR) to be desired
Always a treat to go, but once you enter the facility, one remembers from the last experience - the not-so-friendly host staff (same for phoning in a reservation) and 'rigid' serving staff - not genuine. The good tasting food and ambiance is just enough to distract from the staffing issues.
