My son took me to Sorrentino's in Calgary for my 60th birthday. I ordered the Calamari as an appetiser, that was suggy and not crispy. I also ordered Vitelo Sorrentino - Veal topped with egg plant, tomato and cheese. I thought that it would be great. The presentation was very good, the eggplant was very hard, and the dish was tasteless. My son had a smiliar experience in Edmonton, and now in Calgary. I was very disappointed because I choose this restaurant. So Sorrentino is out of our list of restaurants that we will ever visit again.

I normally like a bit of pepper on my food, but the sauces used on all of our (four) dishes were way over-spiced. I guess if you really like Calabraise style food, this is the place to go.

Great food!! Very Authentic! The manager came over and made us feel very welcome! Amazing pizza
