Once the home of a prominent St. Croix family, this farm-turned-museum gives you a glimpse into 20th-century plantation life. The Lawaetz family, which had recently emigrated from Denmark, bought the farm in 1899. However, most of the buildings date to the mid 1700s. A Lawaetz family member takes you on a tour that includes Carl and Marie's four-poster mahogany marriage bed, family portraits and fruit trees several generations old.
