This is the best place to see the Acropolis illuminated at night ! Walk up straight up the hillside up the paths leading from the WCs near the Restaurant Dionysius until you reach the monument on the top of the hill (about 10 mins). There is a rocky outcrop nearby which is above the tree-line. There is a superb view across the road to the Acropolis. The view is amazing when the Acropolis and Parthenon are lit up at night.
